Recently, the Department of Education of Henan Province announced the list of High-Quality Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Programs in Henan Province. The undergraduate program in Food Science and Engineering jointly organized by ZZULI and the University of Camerino stood out from more than 100 Sino-foreign cooperative programs throughout the province and was successfully rated as one of the first batch of prospective high-quality Sino-foreign cooperative education programs.
This rating is a substantial measure to further promote the connotation construction and high-quality development of Sino-foreign cooperative education in Henan Province and to improve the overall level of internationalization among universities in the province. This selection revolved around six aspects, including educational orientation and goals, program management, teaching staff, program implementation, quality of talent cultivation, and characteristics and social reputation, aiming to enhance the capacity and quality of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs and to drive the connotative development in aspects such as talent cultivation, staff development, disciplinary construction, and joint research.
ZZULI has attached great importance to Sino-foreign cooperative education. Since the implementation of the program in 2020, ZZULI and the University of Camerino have been worked closely to provide high-quality education to students and develop a wide range of cooperation such as student mobility programs, joint training of master and doctoral students, visiting scholar programs, joint research etc. The program completed the first cycle in July this year. Seven students participated in the mobility programs with Camerino. Three programs teachers studied at Camerino as visiting scholars. Eighteen graduates successfully obtained double degrees. Twelve students were admitted by Top universities around the world. Eighteen students were admitted as postgraduate students by domestic well-known institutions.
