From August 23 to 25, 2024, the 8th International Conference on Information Science, Communication and Computing was successfully held in Zhengzhou University of Light Industry (ZZULI). The event was hosted by ZZULI, and co-organized by Zhoukou Normal University, Luoyang Normal University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing Institute of Technology, Hechi University, Jiangsu Computer Society, The University of Alabama, and Wright State University. Attendees included more than 110 experts and scholars from 68 colleges and universities, scientific research institutions, and enterprises of eight countries and regions worldwide. Zhang Xiao, Vice President of ZZULI, attended and addressed the event.

Zhang Xiao made a brief introduction to ZZULI. He stated that ZZULI's information-related disciplines have witnessed strong momentum and remarkable improvements in education strength and level. He also hoped that the conference would serve as an opportunity to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with the participating experts and scholars.

During the conference, the attendees engaged in profound discussions centering around special topics such as information technology, communication technology, as well as intelligent computing, quantum computing, machine learning, neural network, imaging processing, and intelligent data analysis in high-performance computing. Fellow Sergei Vishniakov from the Institute of Information Technologies and Computer Science at MPEI, Prof. Li Jian from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Prof. Li Yusen from Nankai University, Prof. Mustafa Misir from Duke Kunshan University, and Dr. Muhammad Adeel Khan from Tongji University delivered reports. The attendees engaged in lively discussions, creating a strong academic atmosphere.

The success of the event bolsters the development of ZZULI's computer science, information, communication, and other disciplines. It furnishes a platform of academic exchanges and international cooperation for teachers and students of ZZULI. ZZULI will further strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation, leverage its advantages and features, and build a collaborative innovation system, aiming to contribute more to the development of information-related disciplines.
