Digital Manufacturing and Light Industry of Technology Innovation Team in Henan Province
1、 Introduction
Based on the Manufacturing Information Technology Service Center and University Engineering Technology Research Center in Henan Province, Digital Manufacturing and Light Industry of Technology Innovation team in Henan Province grasped the opportunity that National and Henan Province will prioritize to develop equipment manufacturing. It was supported by the Mechanical engineering as the Henan Province first level discipline. This team has formed stable research area and gained a series of achievements, which has a strong influence in related areas in Henan Province.
2、Research Team
After years of construction, the research team has formed under the leadership of Prof. Luo Guofu, which consists of 20 professors and 11 Ph.Ds with reasonable title structure, academic structure and age structure.

Manufacturing Information Technology Service Center in Henan Province
Manufacturing Information Technology Service Center in Henan Province (Zhengzhou University of Light Industry) was founded in April, 2006. It focused on research theory and technology of manufacturing Information, system development and application promotion.
Manufacturing Information Technology Service Center in Henan Province (Zhengzhou University of Light Industry) has strong technical force in theory and technology research, system development, application promotion. It employs 5 professors and 8 associate professors, consists of 7 Ph.ds and 6 masters with more than 20 graduate students. So it forms a stable and reasonable research and implementation team.
This center has undertaken a number of National Natural Science Fund of China projects, National 863 Plan projects, National science and technology support program and key projects of provincial and ministerial level. It conducted a thorough theoryand technology research in the following aspects: management optimization in workshop production and manufacturing execution technology, product modular design principle and application, key technology and application in modern manufacturing service theory, enterprise business collaboration and information systems integration technology etc. On the other hand, it has a good implementation of performance in manufacturing enterprise informatization planning, MES, ERP/MRPII/MES system integration, modern manufacturing service system and applied talents cultivation and technical services in information technology etc.
University Light Industry Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center in Henan Province
Based on Zhengzhou University of Light Industry (ZZULI), university Light Industry Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center in Henan Province is supported by Mechanical Engineering and Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering. It was co-funded by Mechanic and Electronic Engineering School of ZZULI, Manufacturing Information Technology Service Center in Henan Province and Mechanic and Electronic Engineering Institute of ZZULIin 2009. With the support of Henan province education department andZZULI, this center has achieved remarkable results in talent platform construction, light industrial equipment and technology R&D ,technology application and industrializationthrough the improvement of the management system, optimization of resource allocation, strength of cooperation with industry.
Center has a high level expert team with sound theoretical foundation, deep engineering experience, rigorous scholarship, enterprising spirit and strong innovation ability organized with a reasonable structure, The Center employs 52 staff, 26 of them are PhD researchers with the average age of 35.2. Among them, we have 1 founded by Government special allowance from the State Council, 1 Provincial distinguished professor, 16 professors, 12 associated professors, 1 funded by Henan province Excellent Innovation Talents foundation, 2 by Henan Province Outstanding Youth Fund,2 by Henan province New Century Excellent Talents foundation, 5 by Henan outstanding young teacher’s foundation.
Focusing on the core capability building in the development, application and demonstration of technology product and industrial services, supported by 2 Henan key disciplines-mechanical engineering and Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering, Center has developed 4 characteristic research directions and built an integrated platform which combines design, pre-production test and tech-information industrial service of light engineering equipment common technology. Center will research on digital designing and building of light industry equipment, dynamic analysis and control of electromechanical equipment, light industry machine designing and Refrigeration and Cryogenic equipment with the key technology of equipment as a Core. Center will focus on the application and promotion of the common key technology of light industrial equipment with Light Industrial equipment technology research center as a support. Center will also carry out the promotion and transformation of research achievement aiming to light industrial equipment manufacturing enterprise group with the leading equipment company as the base. So far, Center has become a comprehensive platform of engineer technology design, development and industrialization of common technology, pre-production test and industrial service which is totally open to all the universities and enterprises in Henan province.
