1. Control Theory and Control Engineering (Subject Code: 081101)
The Control Theory and Control Engineering is a secondary discipline of first discipline that is the Control Science and Engineering in engineering category. Our Control Theory and Control Engineering is founded based on a scientific research platform of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry andHenan Key Lab of Information-based Electric Appliances, and three research teams are set up on the discipline aspect, i.e., (1) Intelligent Information Processing and Robotics Research team, (2) Modern Measure and Control Technology Research team, (3) Intelligent Computing Theory and Application Research team. Moreover, there are six research directions, i.e., (1) Industrial Process Advanced Control and Optimization, (2) Industrial System Modeling and Simulation, (3) Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Control, (4) Motion Control, (5) Intelligent Computing Theory and Application, (6) Image Processing Technology and Its Application on Agriculture.
On these research directions, there is a reasonable structure of faculty with the stronger operational capacity. At present, there are six professors, five associate professors and nine postgraduate students are currently working toward the Master degree. In past three years, the discipline undertook more than 30 various research projects, got 14 achievement appraisals and awards, at the same time, more than 70 papers and 3 specialty books were published, more than 4 million scientific research funds were obtained.
2. Detection Technology and Automation Equipment (Subject Code: 081102)
The Detection Technology and Automation Equipment belong to a secondary discipline of first discipline that is the Control Science and Engineering in engineering category. Our Detection Technology and Automation Equipment relies on two scientific research platforms of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry andHenan Key Lab of Information-based Electric Appliances, and is based on sensor technology, computer technology, intelligent instruments, automatic control technology, intelligent data processing technology, which study mainly some theories, methods and techniques on the information extraction, conversion, transmission and processing to the controlled object. Five research directions are currently set up, i.e., (1) New Pattern Automation Equipment, (2) Intelligent Detection Control and Optimal Design, (3) Industrial Process Measurement and Automation Technology, (4) Networked Measure and Control Technology and Its Applications, (5) Spectroscopy Detection Technology and Application.
At present, this subject has six professors, five associate professors and nine postgraduate students are currently working toward the Master degree. In past three years, the discipline undertook 23 various research projects, got 10 achievement appraisals and awards, at the same time, more than 55 papers and 1 specialty book were published, more than 3.6 million scientific research funds were obtained.
3. Control Engineering (Code: 085210)
The Control Engineering is an important discipline of control engineering major in engineering category field. Our Control Engineering is supported by two scientific research platforms of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry and Henan Key Lab of Information-based Electric Appliances, moreover, based on the cybernetics, information theory, system theory, with the engineering applications for the purpose to deal with a variety of engineering tasks in automatic control systems and carry out the comprehensive engineering technology issues by using the control theory and technology, methods and techniques of basic theory of modern control areas. Five research directions are currently set up, i.e., (1) Industrial Process Measurement and Automation Technology, (2) Computer Measure and Control Technology and Applications, (3) Fieldbus and Distributed Control System and Its Application, (4) Intelligent Instruments Technology, (5) Image Processing Technology and Its Application on Agriculture.
