“International Business English” is a master point of second discipline, independently set up under the first level discipline of Business Management. It has three research orientations, including business translation, cross-cultural communication, and business language studies.
The discipline of Business English involves international trade, linguistics, and translation. The discipline is designed to cultivate inter-disciplinary talents who are experienced in business English, international business, cross-cultural business communication and business translation and capable of business English teaching and research. Master’s supervisors are three professors of School of foreign languages.
Curriculum provision system includes degree courses, non-degree Courses, and compulsory part. Degree courses emphasize international business theory, trade practice, business English, cross-cultural communication theory, translation theory and practice. Non-degree courses are divided into public required courses and elective courses. The credits of compulsory part can be acquired through participating in academic activities and social practices.
