This specialty aims to cultivate the compound-type applied talents who knows science and arts, can plan and create artistic works by means of computer. Digital industry, as the combination of creativeness and technology, has become the core industry of the 21th knowledge economy. This specialty provide spacious room for students’ employment.Students’ courses are mainly about computer science and basic theories and techniques of artistic design, through which they will acquire the ability of artistic appreciation and professional design. Students’ employment directions are: Internet information design company, Mobile terminal information design and development company, New media advertising company,Information technology co. , ltd,game developing companies,  film and television media company. As high-level application-type talents, they will undertake the task of designing , research, planning and management.

Interactive Media Technology attaches importance to the idea of combining technology and arts. Interactive Media Technology is also known as Multimedia Interactive Technology, which mainly involves the information interaction between computers and outer physical environment. Students are to study software like Processing/Unity3D, through which they will grasp the basic methods of application of transducer. By taking this course, students are to grasp preliminary Human-Computer Interaction Techniques, and be able to create a simple interactive media product.


Applied Technology of New Media

By taking this course, students learn to create more spacious space for imagination and adopt more wonderful artistic techniques by means of new media technology. The emphasis is to cultivate students’ ability to create artistic works by means of new information media and digital media.


Advertising on Movie and TV

From various perspectives such as advertising, Communication Sciences, Psychology, brand theory, this course analyzes the Production process advertising , including  planning, creativity,  Shooting, postproduction. On the premise of knowing well of brand operation, students will further grasp the basic idea and methods of advertising creation. Their imagination, creativity will be reinforced,and their practical ability will be enhanced.



Digital Imageology

As one of the major compulsory courses, this course is mainly about the basic theory of Digital Imageology and the methods of presentation, and cultivating students’ ability of artistic creation by employing new technology and artistic presentation methods. This course requires students to apply design idea and creative strategy to concrete design of Digital Imageology by combining design principle and the law of formal beauty.Students’ digital cognitive ability will be enhanced, and students will be able to grasp the principle and methodology of Digital Imageology.

  

Interactive Interface Designing

Interface interaction is the information communication between human beings and computers. This course involves several disciplines including computer science, psychology, design art studies,  man-machine engineering, etc. The main contents include information structure design,  interaction design, visual design, etc. The aim of this course is to acquaint students with design procedure and methods. Students should center around the users’ need, take users’ experience into account, and have a good command of the principles of  interface design and formal beauty. Students are to be able to undertake the task of developing and designing interfacial systems.
