Collaborative Innovation Center of Environmental Pollution Control and Ecological Restoration

Relying on the management of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, the Collaborative Innovation Center of Environmental Pollution Control and Ecological Restoration Henan Provinceis working as a relatively independent, autonomous running entity. The Center is running with the center director-responsibility system led by the Management Committee, and using the “management committee → center director → innovation platform → innovation team” four levels of organization and management system. As the leading university, Zhengzhou University of Light Industry established the center office, and each collaborative organization also set up the corresponding “environmental pollution control and ecological restoration collaborative innovation center coordination working group". According to the spirit of the “2011 Project” and the general requirements of "Henan urgently needed, the domestic first-class, advanced system, significant contribution", and under the guidance of national major strategic demand of environmental pollution control and ecological environment protection, the Center is providing the science and technology support of environmental protection for the construction of ecological civilization in Henan Province and for the “new industrialization, new urbanization, agricultural modernization” in central plain economic zone.


Currently, there are 20 people working as full-time permanent staff in the center, 48 people working as part-time staff and double recruits ( including 1 Cheung Kong Scholar and National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholar, 1 Central Plain Scholar, 2 Education Ministry New Century Excellent Talents, 4 Science and Technology Innovation Talents of Henan Province, and 3 University Technology Innovation Talents of Henan Province ), and 25 people working as visiting scholar and flow staff. The director of the center is Prof. Zhao Jihong, and the executive deputy of the center is Prof. Zhang Hongzhong.
