




On the afternoon of February 21, the Annual Working Meeting of the Joint Management Committee (JMC) of Food Science and Engineering Undergraduate Education Program carried out jointly by ZZULI and University of Camerino was successfully held. The meeting was attended by Zhou Zhaoxia, Deputy Director of the Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Division of the Education Department of Henan Province, Graziano Leoni, President of the University of Camerino, Andrea Braschi Executive Director of the University of Camerino, Wei Shizhong, President of ZZULI, and Zhang Cheng, Vice President of ZZULI. Attendees also included the responsible persons of relevant departments of the two universities.
Zhou Zhaoxia addressed the meeting on behalf of the Education Department of Henan Province. He extended his congratulations on the inclusion of the cooperative education program between the two universities in the first batch of high-quality Sino-foreign cooperative education programs of Henan Province, and expressed three expectations for deepening educational exchange and cooperation between Henan and Italy. Firstly, the two universities are expected to promote the transformation and upgrading of cooperative education constantly; secondly, the two universities are expected to broaden the field the exchange and cooperation fields steadily; thirdly, it is expected that the people-to-people exchanges between Henan and Italy will be further expanded.
Wei Shizhong and Graziano Leoni delivered speeches on behalf of ZZULI and the University of Camerino, respectively. Wei Shizhong summarized the three major breakthroughs made in the cooperative education program in 2024. Looking ahead, he expected to continue to deepen the multi-level and multi-field cooperation with the University of Camerino by diversifying the new forms and modes of cooperative education proactively. In his speech, Graziano Leoni responded that with a positive and open attitude, the University of Camerino stands poised to work with ZZULI through sharing superior resources and expanding exchanges and cooperation, thereby jointly facilitating the high-quality development of cooperative education.
The responsible person of the International Education College delivered a report on the program operation in 2024 to the JMC, and both sides conducted fruitful communication and discussion on the joint thesis defense, double degree awarding, cooperation expansion, exchange visits of teachers and students, and development planning in 2025.
The working meeting of the JMC reached a consensus on intensifying program cooperation. Seizing the opportunity of cultivating and fostering high-quality Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, the two universities aim to continue the cooperation in an intensified manner, strengthen the connotation construction, and sustain the high-quality development of the program, in a bid to propel the international cooperative education to open up new horizons and make new achievements.
