On December 1, Prof. Rosita Gabbianelli from the University of Camerino, Italy conducted an academic exchange at ZZULI at the invitation of the Key Laboratory of Cold Chain Food Processing and Safety Control, Ministry of Education (Cultivation) under, the College of Food and Bioengineering. The report meeting was held in Meeting Room 209 in the Building of Food and Bioengineering. Teachers and graduate students of relevant majors of the College of Food and Bioengineering attended the meeting, which was presided over by Deputy Dean Wei Tao.
Prof. Rosita Gabbianelli delivered a report titled Epigenetics, Senility, and Diseases. She introduced the work of the research group, analyzed the influence law and mechanism of food on MicroRNA, etc., and highlighted the research progress in the areas of food influence on human epigenetics and DNA methylation.
After the meeting, Prof. Rosita Gabbianelli visited our scientific research platforms and specialized laboratories, including the Key Laboratory of Cold Chain Food Processing and Safety Control, Ministry of Education (Cultivation). Meanwhile, in combination with the construction and operation of the laboratory in which she works, Prof. Rosita Gabbianelli put forward valuable suggestions for the construction of relevant research teams and scientific research platforms in the college.
