ZZULI leaders awarded the letters of appointment as visiting professors to professors from Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Design and Applied Arts

The delegation from Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Design and Applied Arts visited the showroom of special achievements

At the invitation of ZZULI, a four-member delegation led by Kurasov Sergei Vladimirovich, Rector of the Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Design and Applied Arts, paid a friendly visit to our school on November 8. Prof. Bai Yanhong, Vice President of ZZULI, greeted the guests at the VIP room in the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Attendees include responsible persons from the International Cooperation and Exchange Department, the Department of Human Resources, and the School of Arts and Design.

On behalf of ZZULI, Bai Yanhong extended her welcome to the visit of the delegation led by Kurasov Sergei Vladimirovich. She briefly introduced ZZULI's history and achievements. She also emphasized that the School of Arts and Design is one of the special key colleges of ZZULI. After years of construction and development, the School has formed disciplinary and professional advantages with distinctive features. Now it has become an important training base for design and arts talents in Henan Province and even in the whole country, and enjoys a good reputation in the industry. Bai highly praised and expressed her admiration for the huge achievements of the Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Design and Applied Arts. She expected that in the future the both sides would pursue friendly and cooperative relations, strengthen exchanges, mutual learning and mutual understanding, and seek common development.

Kurasov Sergei Vladimirovich expressed his gratitude for ZZULI's reception. He highly commended ZZULI's educational outcomes in recent years and expected that both sides could carry out multi-faceted and deep-level exchanges in the future.

Bai Yanhong awarded the letters of appointment as visiting professors at ZZULI to Kurasov Sergei Vladimirovich, Evgeny Romashko, Dean of Department of Oil Painting and Guo Xiaobin, President of the China-Russia Silk Road Innovation Institute. The delegation led by Kurasov Sergei Vladimirovich also visited the showroom of special achievements. Subsequently, the two sides held discussions and reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation in areas including academic exchange of teachers, scientific research cooperation, and student exchanges.

The visit of the delegation from Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Design and Applied Arts kicked off the friendly cooperation between the two sides. Both sides will jointly cultivate more applied international talents with international outlook and cross-cultural communication ability to promote the educational, cultural and arts exchanges between the two universities.
