The China National Light Industry Council recently released the Decisions on the 2022 CNLIC Scientific and Technological Progress Award. The project “Key Technologies and Industrial Applications of the Digital System in Light Textile Production declared under the leadership of Professor Wang Yonghua from ZZULI’s College of Electrical and Information Engineering received the first prize.
The project, undertaken by ZZULI, was researched and developed by the team led by Professor Wang Yonghua, which has been working on key technologies such as information-based, digital, and intelligent manufacturing for 17 years. Finally, the team realized the multi-scenario innovative applications of these intelligent technologies in the light textile industry. The achievement relies on the industrial networking technology for dynamic integration and processing of massive underlying data in light textile production. On this basis, the whole process, which involves order placement, scheduling, equipment testing, manufacturing execution, product storage, and quality tracing, is under data-driven control. Thus, the production efficiency, management effectiveness, and fine management of an enterprise have been greatly improved. The achievement is a typical application of Internet Plus Light Textile. With the digital platform developed by the project, the digital application rate of the domestic light textile industry has raised to about 60% from scratch. A wide range of domestic applications of the achievement have boosted the rapid information-based and intelligent development of the light textile industry, contributing remarkably to the transformation and upgrading of the industry.
The CNLIC Scientific and Technological Progress Award aims to reward scientific and technical personnel and organizations that have made notable contributions to the sci-tech progress and modernization of the light industry in China and the economic and social development. This is the first time for ZZULI to carry off the first prize of the award.
