Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the fifth list of industrial technology basic public service platforms. ZZULI was listed upon recommendation of China National Light Industry Council.

ZZULI has been actively implementing the strategy of building China into a great power in science and technology, and has established a coordinated innovation system, including the research institute of industrial technology, the industrial key laboratory, the industrial design center, and discipline platforms at ministerial and provincial levels. For four consecutive years, it has been ranked among the top 100 universities in terms of contract amount for the transformation of sci-tech achievements. At present, ZZULI has established 60 discipline platforms at ministerial and provincial levels, including five sci-tech innovation platforms in the light industry. By converging the innovation advantages in sci-tech breakthrough, transformation of sci-tech achievements, and industry-education-research-application cooperation, ZZULI makes positive contributions to breaking the barriers and bottlenecks in industrial chains and promoting high-quality industrial development.
