From April 23 to 25, 2021, hosted by Power System Control and Protection Committee of China Electrotechnical Society, Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of North China Electric Power University, Organized by Zhengzhou University of Light Industry and Society of Electrical Technology of Henan Province, The 12th China Smart Grid Symposium was held in Henan Yellow River State Guesthouse, Zhengzhou.

Mr. Zhou Xiaoxin, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mr. Xue Yusheng and Mr. Wang Yaonan, Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Mr. Tong Guangyi, Director of the Department of Power Safety Supervision of the National Energy Administration, President Huang Rongjie, ,professors from the College of Electrical and Information Engineering of ZZULI, as well as more than 500 representatives from domestic well-known universities such as Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, North China Electric Power University, Zhejiang University, and power equipment manufacturing enterprises such as XJ Group Corporation, NARI Group Corporation, attended the event.

The opening ceremony of the symposium was presided over by Mr. Yao Zhiqing, the Chairman of the Power System Control and Protection Committee and Chairman of Xuchang KETOP Testing Research Institute Co., Ltd. President Huang Rongjie of ZZULI, vice-chairman Deng Hongjun of Henan Association for Science and Technology and Vice President Li Qin of the Chinese Electrotechnical Society delivered speeches successively.

26 experts and scholars in the field of smart grid, including Mr. Zhou Xiaoxin, Mr. Xue Yusheng, Mr. Wang Yaonan and Mr. Tong Guangyi, were invited to report to the symposium. During the two-day symposium, integrating the “Goals of Carbon Neutrality and Peak Carbon Dioxide Emissions”, experts shared their leading-edge points of view and industry hot spots of smart grid development from multiple perspectives, which will play a guiding role in the innovation and development of China’s Smart Grid. various questions were interacted actively on the symposium.

China Smart Grid Symposium is a high-end industry event to the innovation and development of power industry and the frontier exploration of smart grid, and an important conference to improve the R&D, manufacturing and operation level of smart grid equipment and to promote the integration with the world’s advanced technology.
