After two days registration, over 6000 freshmen of 2015 attended the opening ceremony held in Kexue and Dongfeng Campus respectively. An Shiwei, vice president of ZZULI, presided over the ceremony.

Zhao Weidong, president of ZZULI, delivered a welcome speech. He made a very brief introduction about ZZULI to the newcomers by the following 4 features: not only compact and exquisite but also grand-scale, not only vigorous and thriving but also heavily academy-loaded, not only with earnest attitude but also with outstanding characteristics, not only locally-rooted but also globally-minded.

President Zhao then explained the motto ZZULI adheres to: Fortitude dissolves difficulty. He hopes all students in ZZULI should be ambitious, earnest, independent and broad-minded.

Two students made a speech on behalf all the freshmen, saying they will live up to the ZZULI’s spirit and teachers’ expectations.
