On February 28, Guo Tao, Zhang Hui and Cui Guansong, 3 students from the School of Art and Design, were invited to attend the 60th IF Student Design Awarding Ceremony in Hamburg, Germany.
IF CEO, representatives from Hansgrohe Group and Haier Group were present at the ceremony. Others include the teachers of the over 100 award-winning teams and students from all over the world. ZZULI’ student team was among the top 30 ones receiving the prize in the ceremony.
Extender--Embedded Multi-purpose Socket, the entry submitted by ZZULI students, intends to improve the current patch board by designing an elastic socket with flexible wire, which tries to solve the problems traditional sockets have such as not enough holes and too messy wires on the floor. This entry also bridge the media design and industrial design.
The IF Design Competition, Red-dot Design Competition and IDEA of America enjoy the same reputation as first class design competition in the world. 100 out of more than 12,000 global entries were awarded in 2015 competition.
