The first Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair for Henan International Sister Cities, co-hosted by Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Henan Government, opened in Zhengzhou on April 21, 2015. Zhao Jihong, vice president of ZZULI, attended the fair on invitation.

Zhao Jihong had a meeting with Xiaomei Howard, the president of Central China Business Associates of Southern Africa (CCBASA) and they signed a cooperation agreement between the institutions. According to the agreement, CCBASA will provide financial support for 2-4 graduates or the third or fourth year undergraduates annually selected by ZZULI to Johannesburg, the city where CCBASA locates, for one-month internship.

Xiaomei Howard graduated from ZZULI in 1986 and thus an alumna of ZZULI. She hopes this agreement will speed up the internationalization of ZZULI.

Shi Hengzhen, president of ZZULI held a meeting with Xiaomei Howard when she came back to ZZULI. Mr. Shi extended warm welcome to Xiaomei Howard and thanked her for her contribution to ZZULI. They both expressed their wishes to carry out the program.
