Dawn Schmid, Director of ALCI (The American Language and Culture Institute) of California State University San Marcos, accompanied by Ding Qingqing, professor and doctorial tutor of Tsinghua University, paid a friendly visit to ZZULI on Nov. 13, 2013.
Tan Hongling, Director of the Office of International Relations, extended warm welcome to Ms. Schmid on behalf of ZZULI, and Ms. Schmid expressed her gratitude to the welcome. After the brief mutual introduction to each other about the two universities, both expressed the strong desire to cooperate in undergraduate and MBA programs. A MOU between the two universities is expected very soon.
The two universities share many similarities in their renowned School of Economy and Management, Peng Shijin, the Dean of the School of Economy and Management of ZZULI, said that there is much room for both to cooperate in this area.
Founded in 1989, California State University San Marcos is a new kind of university — the 20th campus to be established in the 23-campus CSU system.
