Recently, the "Emerson Innovation Cup", the Second skills National College Students Competition, was held in Jiulonghu Campus of Southeast University. Duan Chaoqun, Zhang zhao, Liang Hongmin, three students from Applied Chemistry Major of our Materials and Chemical Engineering School, participated and got one second prize and two winning prize.

"Emerson Innovation Cup", National College Student skills competition, was co-initiated by Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beijing University of Technology, Southeast University, Central South University, the National Defense University and other universities, aiming at improving experimental ability of college students, and providing a platform to exchange information and enhance the friendship between universities. Nearly 300 teachers and students from 48 universities participated in this competition, including 23 ones from “985” Key universities.

Thanks to the professional guidance of Professor Sun Yuan, Dr. Wang Huanxin and other instructors, the three students, selected from over 20 voluntary candidates, did an excellent job during the contest.
