A delegation from the State University of New York College at Buffalo visited ZZULI on May 26th. The delegation members included Dr. Aaron Podolefsky, the President, Mr. Ted Turkle, Vice President, SUNY Research Foundation, Dr. Benjamin Christy, Dean of School of Arts and Humanities, Dr. Lin Xia Jiang, Professor of Fine Arts, Dr. Lee Ann Grace, Assistant Dean for International & Exchange Programs and Mrs. Ronnie Podolefsky, wife of the President.
The delegation first met Professor Lin Shixuan, Party Secretary of ZZULI. Professor Lin expressed warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of ZZULI and made a brief introduction of the university. The delegation from Buffalo felt very grateful for the hospitality and spoke highly of ZZULI’s recent achievements.
Subsequently, the delegation visited the School of Art & Design and International Education College. They showed considerable interests in the exhibition of the Graduate design work and paid high tribute to the professional standards in art and design.
At 11a.m., the signing ceremony of agreement between the two universities was held. Professor Ju Yiwen, President of ZZULI, Professor Lv Yanli and Zhao Jihong, Vice Presidents, were present. The presidents expressed their earnest expectations for the prospective exchanges between staff and students and would spare no effort to promote the cooperation and communication between the universities.
