Recently, the Ministry of Education (MOE) released the results of its evaluation of Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools (SFCRS). The Sino-foreign cooperative undergraduate education program in Food Science and Engineering between Zhengzhou University of Light Industry (ZZULI) and the University of Camerino, Italy, successfully passed the evaluation.

ZZULI has always attached great importance to the development and quality control of its SFCRS programs. Relevant departments and academic faculties have worked closely together, coordinating their efforts to consolidate the foundation of these programs through routine and standardized management. During the evaluation period, all parties acted in a coordinated manner, made meticulous preparations, and completed all evaluation-related tasks to a high standard.

Drawing on the high-quality disciplinary resources of the two sides, the Sino-foreign cooperative undergraduate education program in Food Science and Engineering adopts a 4+0 dual-degree training model featuring dual enrollment and dual academic status for Chinese and foreign students at both universities. Focusing on connotative development, the program has steadily improved its talent cultivation quality. Students have achieved outstanding results in discipline competitions and academic paper publications. In the past two years, the further study rate has remained above 45%. A number of graduates have been admitted to world-class universities, including the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, and University of London. The program has been recognized as one of the first high-quality Sino-foreign cooperative education projects in Henan Province, and selected as an Annual Model Case of Henan's Educational Opening-up.

Taking this evaluation as an opportunity, ZZULI will strictly act on the feedback from the evaluation experts of the MOE, rigorously control teaching quality, and steadily improve the quality of talent cultivation. It will also continuously optimize the international talent training system and continuously empower the high-quality development of international education.
