Undergraduate Training Program for International Students in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL) (Major Code: 050103)
I. Program Objectives
This program aims to cultivate professionals with: systematic knowledge of the Chinese language and solid Chinese communication skills; comprehensive understanding of Chinese culture and national conditions; proficiency in applying Chinese to language-related work and academic research; competence in Chinese language teaching and cross-cultural communication for cultural exchange and dissemination.
II. Language Admission Requirements
HSK Level 4 with a minimum score of 180. Applicants failing to meet this requirement may enroll in the university’s preparatory program for Chinese language training. Upon successful completion of the program and achieving HSK Level 4 (score ≥180), students may apply for admission to the TCSOL program in September of the same year.
III. Duration and Credit Requirements
Standard duration: 4 years (flexible study period: 4–6 years).
