



From November 22 to 23, the11th China Collegiate Programming Contest (CCPC) Zhengzhou was successfully held at Zhengzhou University of Light Industry (ZZULI). The Contest was hosted by the CCPC Organizing Committee and organized by ZZULI. The event attracted 311 teams, comprising nearly a thousand students and faculty members from over 190 universities, including Tsinghua University and Peking University. The opening ceremony was attended by Liu Chunying, Deputy Secretary-General of the CCPC Organizing Committee and Coach of Hangzhou Dianzi University, Gan Yong, President of the Research Association of Computer Education in Colleges and Universities of Henan Province, and Zhou Liming, Vice President of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry.
The competition officially kicked off on the morning of November 23. With the joint guarantee of all referees, technicians and volunteers, the competition went smoothly. Each team, consisting of three members, worked collaboratively to solve 13 programming problems within the specified five hours. In the end, Peking University’s team “Fei Dai Bu Zhang Dui” clinched the champion by virtue of accurate algorithm design and steady performance under pressure. Tsinghua University’s team “Escape” and Northeastern University’s team “Northeastern University_He Yi Wei” secured the second and third places, respectively. Additionally, the Contest awarded 25 gold medals, 50 silver medals, and 75 bronze medals.
To ensure a fair and smooth competition, ZZULI organized a capable team of staff and volunteers, delivering meticulous services in technical support, event coordination, and logistics, earning high praise from the organizing committee and participating teachers and students.
CCPC, as China's premier, largest, and most influential collegiate programming contest, is widely regarded as the “Olympics of computer programming”. This Zhengzhou regionalcontest not only provided a valuable platform for top computer science students nationwide to show their talents and exchange ideas, but also significantly enhanced our university’s reputation and influence in computing education, playing a vital role in advancing our discipline development and cultivating innovative talent. Although the competition has ended, innovation never stops. May more students shine on the CCPC stage in the years to come.
