From October 29 to 30, the 2025 International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application (Henan) - The 2nd Sub-forum on Cold Chain Food Processing and Safety was held in Zhengzhou. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Henan Province, the sub-forum was hosted by the Center for School Development and Planning, Ministry of Education and the Education Department of Henan Province, organized by Zhengzhou University of Light Industry (ZZULI), and co-organized by the Key Laboratory of Cold Chain Food Processing and Safety Control, Ministry of Education (Cultivation) and the National & Local Joint Engineering Research Center of Cereal-Based Foods (Henan). The conference comprised a plenary session and a postgraduate forum. It brought together nearly 200 participants, including experts, scholars as well as faculty and students from universities, research institutions, and enterprises both domestically and internationally. Zhang Cheng, Vice President of ZZULI, attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Prof. Zhang Hua, Dean of the College of Food and Bioengineering of ZZULI, presided over the conference.

The event, themed "Integration-Driven and Intelligence-Enabled, Facilitating the New Quality Development of the Cold Chain Food Industry", presented speeches delivered by experts and scholars from universities, research institutions, and enterprises worldwide. They engaged in in-depth discussions centered around the conference theme. During the postgraduate forum, 22 doctoral and mater representatives from Mansoura Universityin Egypt, Government College Women University Faisalabad in Pakistan, and universities in Henan conducted substantive discussions on research progress in the field of cold chain food.

The successful convening of this conference has bolstered exchanges between ZZULI and domestic and international peers, reinforced the significance of international cooperation, and unremittingly advanced the high-quality development of the cold chain food industry, alongside the seamless industry-education-research-application integration.
