

On November 3, the 19th "Challenge Cup" China Mobile National College Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition successfully concluded at Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University. The event was co-hosted by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the All-China Students' Federation, and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, and co-organized by Nanjing University and Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League. ZZULI secured one first prize at the Main Competition; one special prize and one first prize in the Application Contest at the "AI+" Special Competition; and one first prize, one second prize, and one third prize at the Special "Leaderboard Challenge" Competition. Particularly, the special prize in the Application Contest at the "AI+" Special Competition stood as the only one in Henan Province. In the Main Competitionsession, our work titled "ECO-ICE Carbon-Neutral High-Density and Low-Energy Consumption Hydrate Phase-Change Cold Storage Materials and Equipment" received unanimous praise from reviewers during the roadshow and was broadcaston CCTV's Morning News. It also marked ZZULI's best performance since its participation in the Main Competition at the "Challenge Cup" Competition.
During the competition, Wang Xin, Bureau Level Official at Level 2 of Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, engaged in a cordial communication with ZZULI's participating team members outside the competition venue. He fully affirmed the inquiring spirit and teamwork capability demonstrated by them throughout the event. Yang Xinyu, Deputy Secretary of ZZULI's Party Committee, visited and extended greetings to our participating faculty and students onspot. He gained a detailed understanding of the preparation status of each participating team, encouraging the students to cherish this opportunity for engagement with outstanding peers from universities nationwide. He motivated them to showcase the innovative capabilities and comprehensive qualities of ZZULI's students on all fronts.
The "Challenge Cup" National College Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition currently serves as one of the highest-level, largest-scale, and most influential competitions in academic technology among domestic university students. Hailed as the "Olympics" of academic technology innovation for contemporary university students, its competition results have become a crucial indicator for measuring the quality of innovative talent cultivation and academic research standards of universities. This year's competition attracted over more than 3 million students from over 2,700 universities nationwide, featuring 400,000 works. Among them, 640 advanced to the final round of the Main Competition, while 643 were shortlisted for the final round of the "AI+" Special Competition.
As a next step, ZZULI will remain committed to its fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education. Aligning with major national demands, leveraging its strengths in preponderant disciplines, and relying on sci-tech competitions such as the "Challenge Cup" and the China International College Students' Innovation Competition, ZZULI will continuously enrich the organizational framework for nurturing sci-tech innovation projects, reinforce the empowerment of disciplinary characteristics and the commercialization of sci-tech achievements, and amplify the cultivation of scientific mindset and innovative spirit among university students. Centered around advancing development whilst building a high-level institutionduring the 15th Five-Year Plan period, ZZULI will further deepen the innovative practice-based education. In this way, ZZULI seeks to guide its young students to unleashpotentials amid the wave of innovation and entrepreneurship and become pioneers and driving forces in sci-tech innovation, thereby contributing to the development of ZZULI.
