Recently, the Education Department of Henan Province announced the 2024 evaluation results for student work achievements in regular higher education institutions. Our university’s project, the “Dandelion Ambassador” Peer Education and Mutual Support Student Development System, was awarded first prize at the provincial level.
In recent years, our university has selected and trained multiple levels of “Dandelion Ambassadors,” providing them with both training and long-term follow-up guidance. By establishing a platform for peer-education practices and activities—such as knowledge dissemination, skill development, group counseling, and practical services—the university has implemented the education and management of key students through peer mentoring, ensuring full participation, continuous attention, and comprehensive integration. This approach has achieved excellent outcomes in student development. Looking ahead, our university will continue to deepen the training and mentorship of the “Dandelion Ambassador” peer team, with particular emphasis on enhancing the role of dormitory information officers, thereby contributing to the university’s safety, stability, and high-quality development.
