Master's Program of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL) for International Students (Major Code: 045300)

I. Program Objectives

This program aims to cultivate high-level, application-oriented professionals with: ethical integrity, broad-mindedness, cultural empathy, and a strong sense of social responsibility; innovative theoretical and practical expertise in teaching Chinese as a second language; interdisciplinary knowledge and the ability to integrate theoretical learning with reflective teaching practices; proficiency in Chinese language instruction, cultural interpretation, cross-cultural collaboration, and autonomous professional development; competence to undertake diverse teaching, research, and managerial tasks in international contexts.

III. Duration and Credit Requirements

Duration: 3 years (full-time).

Total Credits: 40 (including 24 credits from core courses and 5 credits from compulsory components).

Students who fulfill the following requirements will graduate and be awarded a degree:
