On May 8, a delegation from Manukau Institute of Technology, New Zealand, including Luka Crosbie, Director of International and Special Projects, Kevin Lou, International Marketing Manager, and Sarah Chen, Executive Director of the Education Exchange Center, paid a friendly visit to ZZULI.
Mr. Luka Crosbie and his delegation took a tour of the graduation works exhibition at the School of Art and Design and the laboratories at the College of Electrical and Information Engineering. They spoke highly of the students' creativity and excellence in design and fully acknowledged the strong research capabilities in electrical engineering.
Following the tour, Ms. Tan Hongling, Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Department, held a meeting with Mr. Luka Crosbie and his delegation at the International Education College's conference room. Ms. Tan Hongling and Mr. Luka Crosbie presented the profiles and international engagements of their respective institutions. They also discussed the potential pathways for collaboration. Representatives from the International Education College introduced the college's background, highlighting its journey and experience in Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. Mr. Luka Crosbie acknowledged that ZZULI has accumulated valuable experience in joint education programs, which is worth learning from. The meeting concluded with both sides reaching an initial consensus on matters concerning establishing intercollegiate cooperation, promoting faculty and student exchanges, and advancing joint research and education programs.
