On April 10, a four-member delegation headed by Dr. Janet Morrison, President of Sheridan College, paid a friendly visit to ZZULI upon invitation. President Wei Shizhong and Vice President Bai Yanhong greeted the guests in the VIP room at Kexue Campus. Attendees also included relevant responsible persons and staff from the International Cooperation and Exchange Department and the School of Arts and Design.
On behalf of ZZULI, President Wei Shizhong extended his welcome to the visit of the delegation. He briefly introduced ZZULI's development in recent years. He also emphasized that the School of Arts and Design is one of the special key colleges of ZZULI. After years of construction and development, the School has formed disciplinary and professional advantages with distinctive features. Now it has become an important training base for design and arts professionals in Henan Province and even the whole country, and enjoys a good reputation in the industry. He spoke highly of Sheridan College for its outstanding achievements in animation design, hoping that the two universities will establish an intercollegiate partnership to strengthen exchanges, promote mutual learning, and seek common development.
On behalf of Sheridan College, Janet Morrison expressed her gratitude to ZZULI for its warm reception. She looked forward to in-depth exchanges and cooperation between the two universities in arts and design in the future.
Afterwards, President Wei Shizhong and President Janet Morrison signed an intercollegiate cooperation agreement on behalf of ZZULI and Sheridan College respectively. After the meeting, the delegation paid a visit to the international joint laboratory and the art exhibition hall at the School of Arts and Design, ZZULI.
The visit of the delegation from Sheridan College kicked off the friendly cooperation between the two sides. Both sides will jointly cultivate more applied international professionals with international outlook and cross-cultural communication ability to promote the educational, cultural and arts exchanges between the two universities.
