On June 12, the Ministry of Education announced the accreditation result of the Second Batch of National First-class Undergraduate Courses, among which 11 undergraduate courses of ZZULI were selected. Up to now, ZZULI has had a total of 18 national first-class undergraduate courses, ranking third in the number of selected courses among universities in Henan Province.

ZZULI’s courses selected into the Second Batch of National First-class Undergraduate Courses include Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, Management Science, College Physics C, Electrical Lighting Technology, Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Drawing, Heat Transfer, Web Framework Techniques, Programming Technique, Production Safety Control for Food Raw Materials, Data Structure, and Instrumental Analysis.

The construction of first-class undergraduate courses is a significant action taken by the Ministry of Education to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses on education and fully fulfill the requirements of the National Education Conference and the National Conference on Undergraduate Education at Higher Education Institutions in the New Era. In recent years, ZZULI has adhered to the principle of “Putting Undergraduate Education First”, promoted “Four Regressions”, and actively carried out the construction of first-class undergraduate courses around the requirements of the “Double Ten Thousand Plan” of first-class undergraduate courses proposed by the Ministry of Education. In addition, ZZULI has closely focused on the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, reformed and innovated the education and teaching mode, strengthened the ideological and political construction of courses, and promoted the deep integration of modern education technology and teaching, striving to develop a number of high-order, innovative, and challenging first-class undergraduate courses.
