Recently, the International Conference on 2021 ZZULI - User Experience Development International Forum under the theme of Scenario-based Experience Design/Digital Industry, hosted by Zhengzhou University of Light Industry (ZZULI), was successfully held by its School of Art & Design in collaboration with Censtar Science & Technology Corp., Ltd., User Experience Alliance China, Henan Industrial Design Association, UXPA China and Ipsos (China).
The leader of Office of International Relations delivered a welcome speech at the opening ceremony. On behalf of ZZULI, she extended her sincere gratitude to the experts and scholars at home and abroad for their long-term concerns about the growth of School of Art & Design, and introduced what ZZULI has achieved in scientific research, talent training and discipline development of design science.
The forum was co-chaired by Prof. Ren Jianjun from the School of Art & Design and Dr. Yuan Xiaowei, Chairman of the Expert Committee of User Experience Alliance China. In the activity more than a dozen well-known experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities and enterprises made fascinating academic reports on the theme of Scenario-based Experience Development/Digital Industry. The forum was watched live by over 2000 viewers online.
After their presentation, the guests interacted with moderators and the audience and provided more internationally cutting-edge introductions to theories and methods of experience design and locally-tailored solutions for China. Prof. Heidi Krömker from Germany expressed the hope that her MobiTAS (a main chapter of Human-Computer Interaction International Conference, which is initiated by 21 professors and industry leaders from all over the world and chaired by Prof. Heidi Krömker from Technische Universität Ilmenau with an aim to explore the newopportunities and challenges that people face when traveling in current digital environment.) will partner with the School of Art & Design on discipline platform. Dr. Yuan Xiaowei, Chairman of the Expert Committee of User Experience Alliance China, also hoped that the School would join the proposed “China User Experience Standards Committee” for stronger cooperation in the establishment and promotion of user experience standards.
The success of the forum mirrors its academic quality and influence, broadening global horizons of ourteachers and students and enhancing academic exchange and scientific cooperation with domestic and foreign universities and enterprises in design science.
