Recently, China’s National Radio and Television Administration announced the candidate lists of National Radio & Television and Network Audio-visual Industry Leading Talent Program and Youth Innovative Talent Program in 2020. Prof. Liang Hui from College of Software Engineering of ZZULI was included in the first batch of National Radio & Television and Network Audio-visual Industry Leading Talent Program.
Prof. Liang Hui, senior scholar and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellow, specializes in computer animation technology, virtual reality and digital media technology. He had worked previously in the National Centre for Computer Animation, which ranks first in the field of computer animation in the UK, and hosted EU’s the 7th Framework Programme. Before working in the UK, Prof. Liang Hui was an associate professor at Communication University of China. After returning to China and being employed by ZZULI in 2017, he established the International Joint Laboratory of Computer Animation Realization Technology in Henan,took the lead in applying for the new specialty of digital media technology, set up a scientific and technological innovation team of computer animation and virtual reality, and vigorously promoted international cooperation and exchanges and postgraduate education. He has hosted and completed one program funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and three provincial programs. He has ever worked as Director and Party Branch Secretary of Teaching and Research Office of Computer Application Technology in College of Software Engineering, and now works as Assistant Dean of College of Software Engineering and Director of International Joint Laboratory of Computer Animation Realization Technology in Henan, the leader of digital media technology specialty, and doctoral supervisor of Bournemouth University, the UK.
