In order to further implement the innovation-driven development strategy, accelerate the pace of scientific and technological opening-up cooperation, and effectively utilize international scientific and technological resources, according to the relevant regulations of Henan Province Science and Technology Innovation Platform Construction and Management Measures (Trial) (Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology [2016] No.83) and Henan International Joint Laboratory Construction and Operation Management Implementation Rules (Trial) (Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology [2019] No.11), a few days ago, The Provincial Science and Technology Department issued the Notice on Agreeing to Cultivate the International Joint Laboratory of Henan Province in 2019 (Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology [2020] No.23), and the International Joint Laboratory of Intelligent Monitoring and Control of Complex Machinery and Equipment in Henan Province and the International Joint Laboratory of Computer Animation Implementation Technology in Henan Province, which were declared by our school, were successfully approved.

The International Joint Laboratory for Intelligent Monitoring and Control of Complex Mechanical Equipment in Henan Province, declared by the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, is based on serving the local regional economic construction and social development, focusing on the basic scientific problems in the field of intelligent monitoring and control of construction machinery and equipment and the needs of domestic industrial development, focusing on three directions to carry out research work: (1) to carry out basic theory and engineering application research on digitalization of complex engineering equipment such as roadheader , road and bridge vehicles and intelligent control and management under complex working conditions; (2) Research on monitoring and forecasting methods of complex electromechanical system state parameters under multi-field coupling conditions; (3) Research on the theory and method of man-machine cooperation based on machine vision technology.

The International Joint Laboratory of Computer Animation Implementation Technology in Henan Province, declared by the School of Software, focuses on the cross-study of computer graphics, animation art, human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence and big data, and explores the application of emerging technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, deep learning and human-computer interaction to improve the technical level of computer animation implementation. Focus on three research directions to carry out research work: (1) to carry out research on virtual reality and human-computer interaction; (2) Carry out research on high-performance graphics and image processing; (3) Carry out research on media big data and intelligent analysis.

The approval of these two international joint laboratories is another achievement of our school in promoting the opening-up and cooperation of science and technology, and will further play a leading role in effectively utilizing and docking international scientific and technological resources. In accordance with relevant regulations, the school will strengthen conditional construction and standardized management, actively expand international scientific and technological cooperation channels, strive to build it into an international innovation platform with leading technology, gathering talents and leading the industry, and provide strong support for the province's innovation-driven high-quality development.
