On Jan 8, 2016, the National Science and Technology Award Conference, 2015 was held in People’s Great Hall, Beijing by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. Leaders of the Party and the State including Xi Jingping, Li Keqiang, Liu Yunshan, and Zhang Gaoli attended the conference and presented the awards. On behalf of the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council, Li Keqiang delivered a speech on the Conference. Zhang Gaoli presided over the conference.

2 projects, accomplished by ZZULI and other partners, were awarded the second prize of the National Award for Technological Invention and the Second Price for the National Award for Science and Technology Progress.

The two awards, landmark achievements as the result of ZZULI’s perseverance to scientific research, mean a significant breakthrough for ZZULI in the scientific technology award at national level. They also mark that ZZULI is making new record in scientific research, innovation and industrialization of scientific achievements.

Brief introduction to the projects:

The Production and Applications of the Biological Catalyst by Directional Transformation of Polyol

This project gets cracked many international technology problems such as selective catalysis of Polyols hydroxyl which will benefit the medical industry, fine chemical product and food industry. Professor Yang Xuepeng took part in this project and made great contribution.

The Key Technology in Research, Development and Industrialization in Energy-saving and New Energy Bus

This project had many technological innovations such as energy-saving and control in vehicles, High voltage isolation and power transformation and High-density electrical driving control technology. Professor Luo Guofu and his team took part in this project and made outstanding contribution.
