 The content of this course includes as following: the development and characteristics of digital signal processor technology, several different DSP device structures and their indexes, hardware structure and programming model of C54xDSP, DSP instructions and programming optimization, development tools for DSP, design and application of digital signal processor, and development method of modern digital signal processing (such as MATLAB / Simulink, CCS Link, DSP Builder, SOPC Builder etc.).

This course is based on C2000 digital signal processor of Tl company as the hardware platform, introduces all kinds of engineering projects and algorithm implementation and classic designs of DSP system in detail through examples. The content of this course includes DSP peripheral circuit design, CCS2000 DSP software   environment and design, DSP general extension language, DSP algorithm implementation and comprehensive cases. Meanwhile, this course also introduces the application of MATLAB and Simulink in the DSP design—for the design and analysis and implementation of DSP algorithm, and emphasizes the mixed programming of C and assembly language. In practical exercises of this course, two steps methods are taken: simulation and verification, the program development at the floating-point and fixed-point format.
