The signing ceremony of a strategic cooperative agreement between Zhengzhou University of Light Industry and the People’s Government of Jiyuan City was held in the Jiyuan, Henan Province on Sep. 15, 2015.

Those who attended the ceremony included: Xu Jichao, vice governor of Henan Province, Huang Buyi, Deputy Secretary General of Henan Government, Yin Hongbin, Deputy Dean of the Provincial Department of Education, Zhang Daiming, Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Li Mike, Chief Engineer of Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Zong Changqing, the Secretary of Jiyuan Municipal Committee (of the CPC), Zhang Yusong, the Acting Mayor Jiyuan City, Shi Hengzhen, the Secretary of ZZULI Committee (of the CPC), Zhao Weidong, President of ZZULI, Shang Baoping, Deputy Secretary of ZZULI and Lv Yanli, Vice president of ZZULI. Liu Qingfang, vice mayor of Jiyuan city, presided over the ceremony.

Zong Changqing, the Secretary of Jiyuan Municipal Committee, delivered a speech in the ceremony, he said that, as a newly industrialized and innovation-oriented city, Jiyuan now is in bad need of talents of science and technology to respond to the nation’s call on entrepreneurship among people. He believes that the cooperation between ZZULI and Jiyuan’s government will help the city to new phase. Mr. Zong announced that Jiyuan government will try its best to carry out the agreement.

Shi Hengzhen, the Secretary of ZZULI Committee, said in the ceremony that, the agreement between ZZULI, a local university with outstanding characteristics in Henan Province, and Jiyuan government, the biggest lead and zinc base in China and important base for energy, iron and steel, chemical engineering in Henan, will be of milestone significance. ZZULI will make good use of this opportunity to provide best service for the development of Jiyuan.

Zhao Weidong, president of ZZULI and Zhang Yusong, the acting mayor of Jiyuan city, signed The Strategic Cooperative Agreement between Zhengzhou University of Light Industry and Jiyuan People’s Government under the witness of Xu Jichao, the deputy governor of Henan government.

According to the agreement, ZZULI will conduct applied undergraduate education and build new campus in Jiyuan city, which will certainly enhance the cooperation and boost ZZULI’s development.
