A delegation headed by Andrea Nolan, the president of British Edinburg University, paid a good-will visit to Zhengzhou University of Light Industry. Ju Yiwen, the Secretary of the Party committee in ZZULI and Shi Henzhen, the president of ZZULI, met with the delegation respectively.

     Mr. Ju Yiwen extended a welcome to the delegation and had a review about the cooperation between the two universities. Ms. Nolan expressed thanks for the warm reception and she hoped the two parties will have closer ties in the future.

     Mr. Shi Henzhen had a meeting with the delegation and discussed how to deepen the collaborations. The two parties agreed to extend the collaboration to other fields. Both Mr. Shi and Ms. Nolan think that this visit is of great significance to the relationships between the two universities.

     Three MOUs concerning the exchange of students, computer science laboratory and Nano Laboratory had been signed after the meeting.

     The delegation also had a tour on the Kexue Campus and spoke highly the Interface Laboratory.
