On the afternoon of October 14, 2025, a delegation, which comprised six members from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), the Management and Science University (MSU), and the ALFA University College (AUC), paid a visit to ZZULI. Members of the delegation carried out in-depth discussions on topics including discipline construction, talent cultivation, and research collaboration with Director Tan Hongling and Deputy Director Han Fang of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department and Deputy Dean Li Sen of the College of Building Environment Engineering. The exchange of views laid a firm foundation for future cooperation between the two sides.

The delegation firstly visited ZZULI's showroom of special achievements. Centered around themes of "Stepping into ZZULI, Scientific and Technological Innovation, Featured Disciplines, Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent Cultivation, and Outlook", the student volunteer gave a detailed introduction to ZZULI's development history, highlighting ZZULI's outstanding achievements in characteristic discipline construction, cutting-edge research innovations, and the establishment of an international talent cultivation system. The members of the delegation gained intuitive insights into ZZULI's profound school-running strengths and prominent school-running characteristics. They frequently paused to inquire about details and spoke highly of ZZULI.

Following the tour, both parties proceeded to Meeting Room 210 of the College of Software Engineering for an exchange session. After viewing ZZULI's English promotional video, Director Tan Hongling presented an overall introduction to ZZULI's development of international cooperation and exchanges. She underscored that ZZULI has been consistently advancing international cooperative education with an open stance. It looks forward to establishing multi-tiered cooperative relationships with overseas institutions. Deputy Dean Li Sen highlighted the College of Building Environment Engineering's disciplinary strengths. Focusing on its specialty offerings, research orientations, and achievements in talent cultivation, he charted a clear course for disciplinary alignment between the two sides.

Members of the delegation also shared their viewpoints in turns, introducing their respective institutions' school-running characteristics, disciplinary strengths, and experiences in international cooperation. During the networking, both sides engaged in lively discussions on such issues as disciplinary alignment, establishment of the credit mutual recognition mechanism, and collaborative research initiatives. They reached a broad consensus particularly on joint training programs for high-level talents and student exchange programs. After substantive consultations, both sides preliminarily agreed to cooperate in areas including joint doctoral programs, the "1+1+1" joint master's degree programs, "3+1" and "2+2" double-degree undergraduate programs, and faculty-student exchanges. Subsequent steps will involve refining the cooperation schemes to expedite the implementation of these collaborative efforts.

The visit by the delegation has not only established additional exchange platforms between ZZULI and Malaysian universities but also broadened the breadth and depth of ZZULI's international cooperative education. Moving forward, ZZULI will step up efforts to deepen cooperation with top-notch overseas universities, and explore more cooperation models in talent cultivation and research innovation. These initiatives will infuse new momentum into cultivating high-caliber professionals with international visions and enhancing ZZULI's global influence.
