"Henan Key Laboratory of Cold Chain Food Quality and Safety Control" was approved as 2017 Provincial Key Laboratory of Henan Province

In order to implement the spirit of "Several Opinions on Deepening the Reform of S & T System and Promoting Innovation-driven Development" issued by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, in July 2017, Henan Provincial Science and Technology Department organized the application of key laboratories, after the declaration, defense and on-site visits and other sectors, Recently Henan Provincial Science and Technology Agency announced the "Building 2017 year Henan Provincial Key Laboratory of the notice (Henan Branch [2017] No. 182)" , The key laboratory of cold chain food quality and safety control of our school’s was awarded the 2017 provincial key laboratory of Henan Province.


Food and Biological Engineering School jointly Henan Institute of Food Industry Science and Technology Co., Ltd. established the "Henan key laboratory of cold-chain food quality and safety control", focusing on the quality and safety technical issues of the leading cold-chain food industry in Henan Province, Foodborne pathogenic bacteria in chain food, the production mechanism of hazardous substances in cold chain process, the detection and control of harmful substances, and the safety of cold chain food distribution.


The newly approved Provincial Key Laboratory of Henan Province will vigorously promote relevant science and technology research and innovation activities in our school and lay a solid foundation for the key work of the school. The school will implement the relevant supporting policies of the Science and Technology Department’s, strengthen the construction of scientific research team and experimental conditions, and effectively upgrade the academic platform.
