Accounting of our university is one of provincial specialty majors. Meanwhile, we are the platform unit for the state-leveled training of key teachers from vocational schools, the Education Ministry’s construction platform unit for computerized accounting for key teachers from vocational schools and have acquired the authorization of MPAcc. This major is based on multidimensional and diversified teaching models, and instruction of theoretical knowledge, practical ability acquisition and cultivation of innovation ability are attached equal importance to. Theoretical links like situational teaching, theory instruction and case study are integrated with practical teaching links like simulation experiment in the lab, comprehensive training of financial accounting, accounting simulation values, accounting research and internship in enterprises, which provides a good condition and more practical opportunities for students to acquire research abilities in theory and practical skills so that students’ professional qualifications are greatly improved.

It is an undergraduate program, mainly training the advanced special talents with solid theoretical foundation of economics who master the analytical method of modern economy, know the operating mechanism of market-oriented economy, are familiar with economic guideline and policies and regulations in our country, understand the history and present conditions of both domestic and foreign economic developments. Besides, they should know the dynamic condition of economics, have the ability of conducting social survey of economy, economic analysis and practical operation by using quantitative analysis and modern technology and be able to be engaged in economic analysis, forecast, planning and economic management in the departments of economic management, policy research departments, finance institutions and enterprises.

This major focuses on the training of students’ practical abilities. The new teaching model stresses the combination of theories and practice, and highlights the cultivation of their capability and the formation of their professional qualities. And the same time, practical links on campus are strengthened. International Economics and Trade

It is an undergraduate program, mainly training the advanced applied talents with solid theoretical foundation of international economics and trade who have strong practical operational capabilities, know the development conditions of present international trade, are familiar with general rules and conventions of international trade. After graduation, students can be engaged in international business in departments of foreign economy and trade, foreign-funded enterprises, private enterprises and government agencies. In addition, they can teach or do research work in universities and research institutions.

2. Specialty

This major focuses on the training of students’ practical abilities. The new teaching model stresses the combination of theories and practice, and highlights the cultivation of their capability and the formation of their professional qualities. And the same time, practical links on campus are strengthened by increasing the ratio of practice. In order to improve the practical ability of students, the construction of supporting experiment equipments has been finished on the basis of theory teaching. Now we have a modern comprehensive lab of simulation experiment of international trade.

E-Commerce

I. Cultivation objective and career prospect

E-commerce is the deep combination of modern information technology and business activities and it has become the major economic form in the era of internet. This major is designed to cultivate applied business innovative talents, who have theoretical knowledge of economics and management, master methods of modern information and technology, acquire the practical and managerial abilities of business operations and have certain innovative and entrepreneurship qualities by using internet. In addition, graduates from this program should be competent to undertake the construction, operation and management of e-business in various levels of management agencies, manufacturing enterprises, merchandising enterprises, financial industry and scientific research units.

II. Specialty

This major is subject to the first-level discipline----Management Science and Engineering. It is one of key majors in School of Economics and Management. In the practice of teaching and science research, e-commerce has had four features as follows:

1.Businessman-oriented. This major insists on the cultivation of business talents based on the center of business. The structure of students’ knowledge highlights the application of theories of economics and management and business knowledge. The teaching content is based on classical theories in economics and management and focuses on innovative theories in the background of internet. Students are required to be familiar with and master various applied modes of business activities in the era of internet.

2.Rich teaching modes of practice. This major attaches much importance to various practical activities including simulation experiment, disciplinary contest, social investigation and combining study with production and research work. Students can choose practice programs according to their own interests. Meanwhile, students are encouraged to participate in academic activities and disciplinary contests.

3.Stress on innovative and entrepreneurship education. Students are encouraged to conduct entrepreneurship activities of E-business by making use of two levels of “Entrepreneurship Centers for Undergraduates” supported by both our university and our school. In the process of entrepreneurship activities, professionals from e-business enterprises are employed to act as their guides to lead and help students in this major to formulate entrepreneurship plan, look for opportunities for entrepreneurship investment and set up appropriate entrepreneurship projects.  In this way, students’ abilities of management, operation and innovative entrepreneurship can be cultivated in the process of practice.

4.Segmentation of major directions. This major is segmented into three directions: operation of on-line shops, cyber marketing and cross-border e-commerce according to different requirements of market about e-business talents. We will assess students’ strengths and advantages comprehensively in the process of their studying key courses for this major. At the same time, we will take students’ interests into account and help them determine their future direction of development and cultivate their individual core competitiveness.
