PhysicsExperimentCenter was established in 1977 which came from Physics Lab. It passed through the evaluation of basic teaching laboratory of Ministry of education in 1997. It was named PhysicsExperimentCenter in 2002. It was awarded ProvincialExperimentalDemonstrationCenter in 2012. PhysicsExperimentCenter implements university-department two level managements and the director responsibility.
After development and construction in many years, there are two campus labs, and more than 1500 sets of equipment. The total amounts of Instrument and equipment is about 6 million RMB. Experimental courses include General Physics Experiment, Modern Physics Experiment, and Physics Demonstration Experiment. PhysicsExperimentCenter can provide physics experimental courses for about 2800 students.
Experimental center includes 18 full-time teachers. There are 4 professors and 6 associate professors and 8 lecturers. Most teachers are young with years of experiment teaching and laboratory work experience.

It provides physics experiment courses for all students of science and engineering. Physics Experiment Center makes lots of research on experimental courses innovation and progress, teaching contents, teaching methods. The open teaching system of physics experiments are established and meet with requirement of various levels and majors to personnel training. Modern science and technology achievements are added into physics experiment courses in good time which can improve the creative people training.
